Interim Opportunity: Infrastructure Finance Lawyer β Initial 4 months β Hybrid working
A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a talented Infrastructure Finance Lawyer to join its market-leading team on an interim basis.
Location: Hybrid (London-based)
Start Date: October
Duration: 4 months (potential to extend)
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of Europe and the UKβs most experienced infrastructure and energy finance teams, consistently ranked as a top performer in legal directories.
The team is highly active in the market, advising on complex, cross-border financing transactions across all debt products, from loan financings to multi-creditor platforms. The practice is sector-agnostic, covering acquisition finance, long-term refinancing solutions, whole business securitisation platforms, and holdco and minority financings.
In this interim position, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality transactions, typically acting on all elements of a financing from term sheet stage through to closing and post-closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and/or negotiating term sheets, facilities agreements, note purchase agreements, and intercreditor agreements
- Supervising junior lawyers and ensuring a smooth transaction process
- Managing assigned projects and liaising with colleagues, clients, counterparties, and other advisers
- Working as part of a committed and collaborative team recognised as a leader in its field
- Qualified infrastructure finance lawyer (mid-senior level)
- Recent private practice experience at a high-quality firm
- Strong understanding of underlying assets and complex financing structures
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate key legal documentation
- Experience managing a deal team and junior associates
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
This is an outstanding interim role for an experienced infrastructure finance lawyer to join a Tier 1 practice and work on some of the most sophisticated deals in the market.
