I am partnering with a high-profile, well-established professional body that is seeking an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join their in-house legal team on a six-month contract. They operate at the heart of their sector profession and regularly engage with senior stakeholders, government bodies, and external partners. The organisation’s offices are located in a vibrant part of central London, surrounded by excellent transport links, cafés, and amenities.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the in-house legal function across a broad range of commercial matters. Work will be varied and intellectually engaging, including (but not limited to):
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Advising on procurement agreements
- Providing input on defamation-related matters
- Supporting on sponsorship and partnership agreements, some involving financial components (though advanced financial expertise is not essential)
- Offering general commercial legal support to internal teams and senior stakeholders
About You
You will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with strong post-qualification experience in commercial law. The organisation is particularly interested in individuals who are:
- Confident in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Comfortable managing multiple matters concurrently
