We are working with a University based in South West London to recruit a HR Advisor. Working as part of a team, the post holder will be responsible for providing HR advice and support to all faculties and directorates for the University. Job title: HR Advisor Contract type: Interim Length of contract: 8-10 months (opportunity to go permanent) Salary: £38,000 – £41,300 Hours per week: 37 Location: South West London (hybrid working – 3 day in office, 2 days working from home) Key Responsibilities: Assist directorates and faculties with a staff headcount of 1,000 employees Deliver HR guidance tailored to manager needs and ensuring awareness of legal and procedural changes Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, including on-site visits for issue resolution Manage cases related to probation, performance, grievances, and disciplinaries, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and coaching managers for effective case resolution Oversee HR case metrics, managing the HR inbox, and maintaining the casework tracker to prioritise cases Running recruitment campaigns and advising on strategies for maximum impact Support organisational change processes Ensure new HR policies and procedures are embedded and understood across the University Requirements: CIPD qualified professional Excellent knowledge of employment law and good practice with experience of advising managers on employee relations options and reduce organisational risk Experience advising on recruitment Demonstratable experience working at a medium to large organisation in an HR advisory capacity This vacancy will be actively shortlisted so early applications are encouraged Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
