Project Manager

Location: Bristol

Length: 6 months, temporary ongoing

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Short term planning to ensure an efficient and planned execution of works
  • Manage relationship with the sub-contractors and act as the focal point for Communication & liaison while working onsite
  • Ensure adherence to processes and records maintained to Warranty provider, building control, BOPAS and relevant company standards
  • Take ownership for ensuring that HSEQS protocols are always adhered to on sites
  • Maintain quality control procedures and ensure all ITPs are recorded
  • Drive the project programme and delegate responsibilities to suitable site staff
  • Ensure the highest quality standards at every stage of the project
  • Manage the day to day safe logistics of the works with special attention to People and Machinery, Working at Height and Lifting Operations
  • Create RFI\’s (requests for information) and communicate to relevant parties including Designers / Sub Contractors and chasing up replies and forwarding replies as required keeping site register up to date
  • Ensure that all materials required on site are proposed and approved to meet the requirements of the last planner programme
  • Work with the site team in monitoring HSEQ aspects of the project including Project Health and Safety File
  • Keep a full diary of site activities that includes daily resources on site, dates of completion of key activities, details of records produced
  • Assist managing the permit process including issuing permits to work
  • Input into planning process reporting on progress to date and blockers and movers.
  • Report to the Project Leader all discrepancies to the programme

Essential requirements:

  • To be considered for this vacancy you must have cladding facade and main contractor experience
  • Experience in both residential development and modular construction is highly preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of effective site management inclusive of all time, cost, quality & handover aspects
  • HSEQ qualified
