Our client is looking for a proactive and compassionate Housing Advice and Options Manager to be responsible for overall development, co-ordination, delivery and performance of a highly effective homelessness prevention, assessment and advice service for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, with the ultimate goal of reducing homelessness and minimising the use of temporary accommodation.

Location: Northamptonshire

Rate: £265 per day (Umbrella)

Hours: 37 Hours per week hybrid 1 day a week

Length: 3 months with a high likelihood of being extended

Duties:

  • Lead and manage the Housing Advice and Options service, ensuring statutory compliance and delivery of the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy
  • Oversee triage, casework, and homelessness assessments with a focus on prevention and crisis management
  • Manage service performance, systems, budgets, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Develop policies, strategies, and funding bids to support service delivery and wider corporate objectives
  • Build and maintain partnerships, agreements, and multi-agency collaboration
  • Prepare reports and present to governance and decision-making bodies
