We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded social housing provider to recruit an Inspections and Quality Officer. This is a key technical role focused on ensuring contractor performance, quality of workmanship, and compliance with industry standards, while supporting robust financial and contractual controls.
You will play a hands-on role across inspections, project delivery, and post-completion review, helping to ensure homes and estates are maintained to a high standard and that value for money is consistently achieved.
Salary: £48,000
Location: North West London
Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee allocated projects using mobile technology or manual scheduling
- Monitor the quality of contractor works, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and best practice
- Provide clear technical advice and support to colleagues, residents, and wider stakeholders
- Reconcile final accounts, process valuations and invoices, manage disputes, and issue relevant certifications
- Produce regular project updates and complete post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement
- Support home and estate inspections, including mutual exchange assessments
