Venn Group are currently partnering with a high performing Housing Association who are recruiting for a Head of Governance and Risk to join their team for an initial 12-14 month contract. As the Head of Governance & Risk you will be responsible for providing risk management and strategic oversight of assurance for compliance and governance.

Duties:
- Lead on organisational risk management and collaborate with the wider business, ensuring risk is accounted for in decision making.
- Oversee internal audit contract, ensuring it aligns with the risk management framework.
- Secure insurance and oversee compliance with data protection regulations.
- Effectively manage the procurement function, ensuring value for money across the organisation.
- Maintain awareness and provide updates on regulatory standards, liaising with the board and committees.
Experience:
Experience managing the risk and controls framework in a regulated sector (ideally Social Housing).
