We are currently supporting an established charitable organisation to recruit a Progression Coach in Greater London on a permanent basis. The primary role of the Progression Coach is to ensure that all clients within their services progress with all Progression activities (which include Education, Training, Employment and Volunteering (ETEV) and Engagement and Empowerment) and participate in Health and Wellbeing activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver engaging Progression activities (ETEV, Engagement and Empowerment), including the organisation of regular, impactful Progression events.
- Work collaboratively with Housing and Support Officers to assess and support all areas of client development, using a client-led Homelessness Outcome Star approach to promote stability, structure and positive outcomes.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Progression events, including logistical planning, risk assessments and clear communication with all stakeholders, as required.
- Proactively identify and address barriers to learning, implementing timely intervention strategies, signposting clients to appropriate support services, and monitoring progress to adapt actions and maximise success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of delivering advice, guidance and/or coaching to individuals with complex needs, ideally in line with matrix standards.
- Strong ability to review, appraise and evaluate individual development, using insights gained to create and implement effective learning and progression plans.
Hours: 20 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Salary: Β£30,000 Full Time Equivalent
Contract: Permanent
