Financial Controller

Base pay range Location: Coventry Pay Rate: Up to £65k per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage a finance team of five staff
• Produce full set of monthly management accounts including commentary on budget
• Maintain legal compliance and best accounting practices
• Ensure Financial controls are in place
• Review Financial reports with non-finance staff and provide guidance
• Oversee the monthly payroll process
• Carry out review and submissions of VAT
• Oversee the yearly Audit and act as a point of contact throughout the process
• Promote financial awareness throughout the organisation

Ideal Requirements:

• Strong accounting systems experience
• Experience in a similar role previously
