Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate termly fee invoices and manage fee remissions (bursaries and scholarships) in line with school policy.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile additional charges such as trips, exam fees, and other extras, ensuring timely communication with parents.
- Administer direct debit and BACS processes, maintaining full compliance with banking and audit requirements.
- Monitor and recover outstanding fee debts through proactive credit control, escalating cases where necessary.
- Maintain and update fee ledgers, ensuring accurate records of deposits, registration fees, and parental payment preferences.
- Support the administration of bursary and scholarship applications, including renewals, and assist with year-end audit processes and reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Provide clear, professional responses to parent queries regarding fees and associated costs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in billing, credit control, or accounts receivable within a finance team.
- Previous experience in an independent school or educational setting is highly desirable.
