Rate: Β£35 per hour
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Duration: 12 months initially (strong likelihood of 36 months)

Summary
Our client is currently supporting a major aerospace documentation programme and are looking for experienced Aerospace Technical Authors to join a long-term project based in Farnborough.
This role will suit seasoned aerospace documentation specialists with strong experience working to ATA100 and S1000D standards, along with Adobe FrameMaker. The initial contract is expected to run for at least 12 months, with the potential for longer-term extensions as the programme develops.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and conversion of aircraft technical documentation, supporting a long-term project based in Farnborough. Work will include both ATA100 manuals and S1000D conversion projects across a wide range of aircraft documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aerospace Technical Author
- Strong working knowledge of ATA100 and S1000D
- Experience producing or converting aircraft technical manuals AMM's & CMM
- Strong Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker
- Ability to work within large aerospace documentation programmes
