Are you an experienced estates compliance professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Band 7 Compliance Manager to join an NHS Estates team. This is a key role ensuring buildings, plant, and equipment meet all statutory, regulatory, and NHS standards.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement compliance strategies across the estate.
- Provide assurance to the Head of Estates.
- Lead compliance audits, risk assessments, and assurance reporting.
- Support Planned Preventative Maintenance systems aligned with HTMs and HSE standards.
- Provide technical input for capital projects and minor works.
- Manage ISO quality standards and maintain compliance registers (e.g., asbestos, risk).
- Liaise with enforcement agencies and NHS bodies.
- Line manage estates administration and helpdesk functions.
What we’re looking for:
- In-depth knowledge of estates services and health & safety legislation.
- Senior-level experience managing NHS estates compliance.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to produce high-quality reports and manage.
