The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the operational management of services within our Care Group. You will work closely with Clinical Leads, Matrons, and senior managers to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This role includes deputising for the General Manager and leading division-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible leadership and foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Manage service delivery, ensuring compliance with national and local performance targets.
  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and performance reporting.
  • Drive service improvement, digital innovation, and governance compliance.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development.

About You:

  • Relevant experience within the NHS or Healthcare
  • Proven operational management experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, risk management, and NHS performance standards.
  • Experience in service redesign and project management.
