Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead their Environmental Protection Team. As a key figure in their Regulatory Services Directorate, you will manage the delivery of critical statutory functions, including air quality monitoring, pollution control, and statutory nuisance investigations.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Protection Team, ensuring alignment with council policies and priorities.
  • Lead on high-impact services, such as regulating industrial pollution, managing private water supplies, and contributing to planning and licensing processes.
  • Drive performance excellence through effective people management and service optimization.

A qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHRB registered) with substantial experience in environmental protection. You will also be responsible for the efficient execution of the range of duties commensurate with the professional competence of a qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHRB registered).
