Venn Group is currently supporting a Local Authority in the Midlands in their search for an experienced Senior Planning Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis.

Assignment details:

  • Duration: 3 months initially
  • Working arrangement: Predominantly remote, with occasional office attendance as required
  • Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella (DOE)

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of general planning law matters
  • Advising officers and members on a wide range of planning issues
  • Drafting and reviewing planning-related legal documentation
  • Supporting the wider legal team on planning matters as required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
  • Have recent experience handling planning law matters within a Local Authority
  • Be able to work autonomously and hit the ground running
