Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently working with a well-regarded Local Authority in the East of England to recruit a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a dynamic and vibrant legal team.
The Role:
- Rate: Up to £55 per hour umbrella
- Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension
- Location: Remote working
- Hours: 4 days per week, 28-32 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice on Contract and Procurement Law
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts
- Provide legal advice on procurement strategy, governance frameworks, and contractual risk in line with evolving procurement legislation
- Ensure legal compliance with procurement regulations relevant to the public sector
About You:
- An experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer
- Experience of working within a Local Authority or Public Sector Organisation
- Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines
