CRM System Implementation Lead

We are currently working with an East Midlands Council, who are seeking a CRM System Implementation Lead to oversee the delivery of a new CRM system for their Economy & Funding Team. This role is ideal for someone with strong project delivery experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and a background in CRM systems and ICT coordination.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months Initially (likely extension)
Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)
Working Arrangement: 30 hours over 4 days (Hybrid – 2 days office-based, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the CRM system in line with project governance and objectives.
• Act as the main liaison between ICT teams and the Economy & Funding Team.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation.
• Gather, analyse, and document CRM requirements with service users.
• Coordinate system configuration, testing, and quality assurance.
• Manage change control processes and risk frameworks.
• Deliver training and user guidance to support CRM adoption.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure CRM integration with existing digital platforms.
• Support transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Promote continuous improvement in customer experience and service efficiency.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in delivering projects within budget and timeframe.
• Strong CRM system knowledge and data analysis skills.
• Experience in system development and user training.
• Advanced ICT technical knowledge (e.g., database setup).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage change effectively.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, and information security.
