We are currently partnering with a well-respected social housing organisation to recruit a Commercial Contracts Manager to lead contract and supply chain performance across a range of outsourced housing services. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional who enjoys working collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to ensure services are delivered to a high standard and provide genuine value for money. The role offers a strong mix of strategic oversight and hands-on contract management within a values-led organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead contract and supply chain management across outsourced services including repairs, compliance, improvements, and estate services
- Ensure suppliers deliver in line with contractual, quality, and compliance requirements
- Oversee procurement, mobilisation, and ongoing contract management in partnership with internal teams
- Manage supplier performance and relationships, driving value for money and service improvement
- Provide commercial oversight of projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget
- Manage budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting, identifying efficiencies where possible
- Monitor performance, risks, and KPIs, using data to support continuous improvement
- Lead and support teams while promoting a customer-focused, values-led approach
Requirements
- Experience in commercial or contract management within social housing or construction
- Confident managing suppliers, budgets, and performance
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Collaborative communicator, comfortable working with data and reports
- Level 6 qualification, ideally in Estimating or Quantity Surveying
- CIOB or RICS membership (or working towards)
