We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid background in Civil Litigation, ideally gained within a Local Authority background.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, with a distinct advantage for applicants who have experience in Debt Recovery and Housing Litigation.
Duties may include:
- Managing a diverse caseload, with a focus on Debt Recovery and Housing Litigation
- Handling Housing Litigation cases such as but not limited to, Disrepair disputes and Tenancy disputes
- Experience in property litigation including dealing with landlord and tenant disputes, forfeiture claims, trespass/encroachment claims, and dilapidations
- It may be required to represent the Council in Court in remote hearings
