Venn Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Workforce Consultant on behalf of a respected regulatory organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced workforce professional to support a strategic review of workforce arrangements within a key operational function. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will assess current workforce structures, capacity and ways of working, helping to shape a sustainable operating model that supports service delivery, employee engagement and organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of current workforce arrangements, roles, responsibilities and team structures
- Analyse workforce capacity, resource allocation and operational demands to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assess employment arrangements and provide advice on workforce models, contractual considerations and associated risks
- Develop evidence-based recommendations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and long-term workforce sustainability
- Support organisational design activity, including role evaluation, workforce planning and change management initiatives
- Identify and mitigate employee relations and employment law risks linked to proposed workforce changes
- Engage with managers and senior leaders to understand current challenges and future workforce requirements
- Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for senior decision-makers and governance groups
- Support the implementation of agreed changes, ensuring a collaborative and people-focused approach throughout
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations or workforce transformation roles
- Strong understanding of UK employment law, consultation processes and workforce change programmes
- Experience reviewing organisational structures, operating models and resource planning frameworks
- Ability to analyse complex workforce data and translate findings into practical recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing and advising senior leaders
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- CIPD qualified or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working within a membership body, professional services, public sector, regulatory or not-for-profit environment would be advantageous
Location: Home based, occasional travel to Central London
Duration: 6 month temporary contract
Pay rate: Competitive
Working hours: 3 days per week
