A position has arisen for a Locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in the Yorkshire region on an interim basis.
Arrangement: Remote working
Start/Duration: ASAP β 3 months initially, likely to extend
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Rate: Up to Β£65ph umbrella
IR35: Inside
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice to a variety of clients in-house across all directorates
- Working as part of a team on high value contracts disputes
- Handling a variety of contentious matters in procurement law including framework agreements and contracts
- Involvement in complex commercial projects
- Providing legal and policy advice to clients
- Holding responsibility for contractual litigation, disputes and procurement law cases
- Keeping abreast of legal developments and current thinking on related policy issues
