Salary: £27,152 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installations Technician to support the delivery of practical electrical training programmes within a busy educational environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on electrical experience who is looking to move into the education sector and play a key part in supporting learners through high quality workshop and practical training activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare workshops, tools, equipment and materials for practical teaching sessions
- Carry out basic maintenance and repairs to electrical training equipment
- Support practical demonstrations, assessments and workshop activities
- Ensure workshops are safe, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements
- Assist with the development of practical learning resources and activities
- Work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of electrical installation programmes
About You
- Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- Experience working within an electrical installation, maintenance or repair environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships with both staff and learners
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
