Assistant Director of Funding and MIS

We’re working with an ambitious college group who is recruiting to a newly formed leadership role: Assistant Director of Funding and MIS. The post had been created to strengthen the College’s capacity to delivery high quality management information and support its strategic goals.

Job responsibilities include:

• Support continuous improvement of the MIS function
• Line-manage and develop teams within the Funding and MIS functions, ensuring high levels of performance and professional development
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise funding income, including effective curriculum planning and monitoring of funding performance
• Contribute to the development and implementation of College-wide strategies through effective use of data and management information
• Investigating and proposing changes to systems, and working practices to use innovative technology to ensure continuous improvements

Candidate profile:

• Extensive experience in a senior MIS role within Further Education or wider education sector
• Deep understanding of academic management information systems.
• Proven leadership skills, including line management of both technical and administrative teams.
• Strong knowledge of examinations processes, including awarding body protocols and JCQ compliance.
• Hands-on experience with MIS software and a track record of managing and developing data systems to support institutional performance

Annual salary: £63,000 – £67,000

Contract type: Full-time permanent

Working hours: Full time

Location: West London (hybrid working pattern – 4 days on site, 1 day from home)
