The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28800 £ per year.

Annual Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (Dependent on experience)

Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday, on-site

Location: Leeds

An exciting opportunity has arisen with an established and growing organisation in Leeds, you will gain great exposure into Management Accounts duties and receive full support and training from the Senior Management Accountant as well as the wider team. This organisation is also open to supporting further study.

The Job:

  • Produce monthly management accounts, including routine journal postings (accruals, prepayments, depreciation etc)
  • Post daily cash postings/bank reconciliation and issue weekly cash reports
  • Monitoring rebate accounts to ensure that rebate payments are made correctly and on time
  • Completing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing the financial performance against budget and analysing any variances
  • Working with managers to gather data on KPIs and using this information to drive improvements in the business
  • Nominal coding of invoices
  • Supporting with the Year-end preparation such as preparing financial statements, such as the balance sheet and income statement, and ensuring that all financial records are up to date
  • Analysing sales data and making provisions for any potential liabilities or losses
  • Working with external auditors to ensure that the financial statements are accurate and comply with accounting standards

About You:

  • You must be AAT qualified and have 2 + years’ experience working in Finance and a general Accounts Assistant role
  • You will demonstrate a methodical and logical approach to your work
  • Excellent punctuality and time management skills
  • Excellent communicator
