We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our clients team. The correct person will provide high quality grounds maintenance and associated estates services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining landscaped and communal areas to a high standard, including grass cutting, hedge cutting, shrub pruning, weed control, maintaining borders, and litter picking.
  • Ensuring that estates are kept in accordance with company standards and in a clean and tidy condition, with all garden waste materials and litter removed from site and appropriately disposed of.
  • Simple planning of seasonal work.
  • Responsible for carrying out or arranging routine maintenance of gardening equipment.
  • Ensuring that tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment are kept to an acceptable standard and inventory is kept up to date.
  • To ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and sites are visited in accordance with rotas.
  • Ensure all relevant Health & Safety compliance whilst on site, including but not limited to, working at heights, lone working, manual handling, risk assessments, COSHH, ensuring that PPE is used where appropriate.

Must hold a current full UK driving licence and be willing to drive vehicles, including vans and tipper transits.

Pay: £15.60-£18.56 per hour.
