We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting interim opportunity for a reputable organisation based in Worcestershire. Duration: Initial 3 Month Contract
Location: Worcestershire
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours
Salary: £15.75 PAYE / £18.75 via Umbrella (both rates Inclusive of holiday pay)
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requisitions in line with procurement policies, financial procedures, and delegated authority limits
- Source goods and services, negotiate with suppliers, and secure best value through competitive pricing, quality, and delivery
- Manage and prioritise procurement activities, including urgent orders, while working independently to meet deadlines
- Support the purchase-to-pay process by resolving purchase order and invoice queries to ensure timely supplier payments
- Monitor procurement performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on savings achieved through effective purchasing
- Support procurement projects, e-catalogue and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) initiatives, and promote the use of approved contracts and suppliers
- Administer the iProc system, including supplier and user setup, end-user training, approval hierarchy maintenance, and support for equipment purchasing processes
