Housekeeping Support Worker

A distinguished organisation is actively seeking a Housekeeping Support Worker on a temporary to permanent arrangement. The post holder will be responsible for providing a high-quality service and maintaining a clean environment for staff and residents.
Location: Watford
Rate: £15.07 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: 37.5 per week | 07:00 – 15:00 or 09:00 – 17:00
Contract: 3 months Temporary to Permanent
Your duties will include:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across supported housing, communal areas, offices, and resident accommodation
- Support residents to develop independent living, domestic, and good neighbour skills
- Encourage resident engagement and contribute to a positive, supportive living environment
- Identify and report resident welfare, safeguarding, maintenance, and health & safety concerns
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and organisational procedures
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and maintain cleaning supplies and machinery
- Work collaboratively with housing and support teams to deliver effective services
- Attend training, meetings, and supervision sessions while contributing to continuous service improvement
- Undertake additional duties as required to support service delivery and resident outcomes
