HR Administrator

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring employee records are accurately maintained and HR processes are delivered efficiently and professionally.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous HR administration experience who is looking to further develop their career within Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, and leavers.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are updated in a timely manner.
- Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Support recruitment processes, including arranging interviews, issuing documentation, and liaising with candidates and hiring managers.
- Process new starter and leaver documentation.
- Monitor HR inboxes and respond to employee and manager queries appropriately.
- Assist with sickness absence, annual leave, and other employee record management.
- Produce regular HR reports and maintain workforce data spreadsheets.
- Support payroll processes by ensuring relevant information is submitted accurately and on time.
- Arrange meetings, take notes where required, and provide general administrative support to the wider HR team.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and data protection requirements.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Assistant, or administrative support role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience maintaining databases and electronic filing systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Driving License is desirable
