An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Office Manager to join a busy and welcoming school from the beginning of September.
We are seeking a highly capable professional who can quickly integrate into the team and provide essential support across school administration, finance and attendance functions.
This role will play a key part in the day-to-day operation of the school office, ensuring administrative processes run smoothly while supporting finance activities, attendance monitoring and stakeholder communications.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and organised individual who is confident taking ownership of tasks, prioritising effectively and working independently within a fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management and organisation of a busy school office.
- Oversee and complete a range of finance administration processes using FMS.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial reporting requirements.
- Manage pupil, attendance and administrative records using SIMS.
- Monitor attendance and carry out attendance follow-up procedures with parents and carers.
- Support communication with families through Parent Mail.
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of school website content where required.
- Provide administrative support to senior leaders, staff, pupils and parents.
- Manage incoming enquiries and respond professionally to stakeholders.
- Ensure school records, files and systems are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Support the coordination of school events, meetings and operational activities.
- Utilise Google Workspace to manage documents, spreadsheets, communications and shared systems.
- Contribute to the smooth running of school procedures and office operations.
- Identify areas requiring attention and take proactive action to resolve issues.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

- Previous experience working within a school office environment.
- Strong working knowledge of
