This role requires a strong operational leader who can quickly establish credibility, provide stability to an existing maintenance team and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality maintenance services across a diverse property portfolio.
The Role
You will be responsible for :
- Leading, motivating and managing a multidisciplinary maintenance team
- Ensuring statutory compliance and health & safety standards are maintained
- Overseeing planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes
- Addressing team performance and people-management issues where required
- Reviewing processes, standards and working practices
- Providing stability, leadership and continuity during a transitional period
- Supporting future plans for the development of the maintenance function
About You
- Significant maintenance management or estates leadership experience
- Experience leading maintenance teams
- Strong people-management and performance-management skills
- Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance services
- Knowledge of compliance, health & safety and contractor management
- The ability to quickly assess situations, make decisions and drive improvements
- A practical and proactive leadership style
