Housing and Wellbeing Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing and Wellbeing Coordinator role within a well-established Housing Association. This will be based across a scheme in Loughton, working on a full-time, temporary basis.
Location: Loughton
Rate: £15.65 per hour (PAYE inclusive of holiday pay)
Length: Temporary
Hours: 36.25 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 9am - 5pm, 8am - 4pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm
Main Duties
- Be responsible for the wellbeing of each resident by providing advice, support and guidance whilst maintaining high customer care standards
- Interview prospective residents and support new residents so that they become confident in their surroundings and facilitate social events
- Promote general individual health, safety, and security within the scheme
- Oversee contractors on site ensuring quality of work is maintained and carry out regular Health and Safety checks
- Provide advice and signpost residents on the availability of statutory and voluntary organisations
- Act as the point of call for emergencies and help neighbouring schemes when required
- Reporting and chasing repairs/maintenance for residents
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience working with older people or in a similar environment
- Excellent communication skills and IT literate
- Enhanced Adult DBS
