Venn Group are working with a public sector organisation to recruit a Salesforce Implementation & Data Specialist, on a contract basis.
The client has selected Salesforce Service Cloud as their customer record solution, and it will sit alongside their services’ Line of Business Systems as the customer contact and case layer.
They are seeking a contractor to: define what good looks like; establish the data and configuration standards; make the approach repeatable so teams can be onboarded incrementally; support teams to make the best use of Salesforce.
You will work to initially repoint the organisation’s existing customer forms to create a Salesforce case, set the case data standards, then help teams to work cases in Salesforce. The emphasis is on design and standard-setting, not day-to-day administration.
Public sector experience is highly desirable for this role.
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Day rate: £500 Ltd
- Length: 3 months – scope to extend longer term
- Working pattern: Full time
- Onsite: On occasion as work requires (primarily remote, onsite for workshops / team days)
Experience and Skills:
- Strong, hands-on Salesforce expertise, including data modelling, case management configuration and integration, not just administration.
- Has established Salesforce as the main customer contact or case record in an organisation that also runs separate line-of-business systems, and understands Salesforce as the contact and case layer rather than a replacement for statutory systems.
- Has designed and set data standards and operating models that other teams then adopted: a standard-setter, not only an implementer.
- Can bring order to a fragmented data environment: data cataloguing, contact de-duplication, and defining a common case model.
- Able to onboard and train non-technical teams new to Salesforce, and to build a repeatable rollout method.
