3-4 Month Interim Contract
An NHS organisation in West London is seeking experienced IPS Employment Specialists to support a service expansion programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with proven IPS experience who can quickly integrate into an established team and provide immediate support whilst permanent recruitment and onboarding processes are completed.
Employment Specialists will be based across a number of boroughs and will work flexibly across locations in line with service requirements. The role will also involve employer engagement activity across boroughs and, where appropriate, the wider Tri-borough area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver employment support in line with the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) model.
- Manage a caseload of clients with mental health needs, supporting them into and within paid employment.
- Provide practical support including CV writing, interview preparation, job searching and career guidance.
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify suitable opportunities for service users.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary mental health teams to support recovery-focused care plans.
- Liaise with external agencies including Jobcentre Plus, training providers and community organisations.
- Maintain accurate records and outcome reporting in line with IPS standards and service requirements.
Essential Requirements
- IPS Employment Specialist experience.
- IPS training and a strong understanding of IPS principles.
- Ability to quickly establish a productive caseload and work independently.
- Experience supporting individuals into employment and engaging with employers.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations within West London.

- Rate: £23.73 per hour Umbrella (Band 5 equivalent)

- Location: West London (site-based and community-facing)
- Hours: Full-time
