- Build strong working relationships with patients, insurers, consultants and internal clinical teams.
- Produce clear weekly/monthly reporting on cash received, ageing profiles and risk exposure.
- Provide guidance to credit controllers and support wider finance operations during peak periods.
- Work confidently with patient billing platforms and ensure accurate coding, reconciliation and audit-ready documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong credit management experience, ideally within private healthcare or another regulated, high-volume billing environment (multi-entity experience would also be a benefit)
- Deep understanding of PMI, self-pay and embassy billing.
- Proven track record of reducing aged debt and improving cashflow.
- Confident communicator able to balance firmness with empathy in patient-facing scenarios.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with healthcare billing systems.
- Comfortable working at pace and taking ownership from day one.
