Venn Group’s specialist HR recruitment team is recruiting for an HR Advisor on behalf of an organisation based in Leeds. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in delivering a commercially focused HR service within a fast-paced and growing organisation with over 50 years of industry expertise.
The role
- Providing an operationally focused HR service, including advice, support, and management of employee relations cases.
- Partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders to deliver the business strategy and HR plan.
- Managing employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, and investigation processes.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, GDPR requirements, and best practice.
- Advising managers on people management issues while developing their confidence and capability in handling HR matters.
- Identifying risks and offering practical HR solutions to support operational objectives.
- Producing HR management information and supporting business improvement projects.
- Maintaining and developing HR systems and processes, including HR service desk operations.
About you
- At least 2 years' experience managing Employee Relations cases.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience of TUPE and consultation processes would be advantageous.
- Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
