Interim HR OD Specialist Based – London, hybrid working Inside IR35 Length: 3 - 6 months initially

We are looking for an exceptional interim HR OD Specialist to join a Local Authority during an exciting period of change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of change management strategies and plans across organisational transformation programmes
  • Conduct change impact assessments and workforce readiness evaluations
  • Design and deliver stakeholder engagement, communications and employee adoption activities
  • Support leaders and managers in navigating complex change and organisational redesign
  • Facilitate workshops, engagement events, focus groups and change interventions
  • Develop change management toolkits, training materials and guidance for managers and staff
  • Monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives using data, insight and feedback
  • Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, HR teams, programme leads and Trade Union representatives
  • Support workforce transition planning, consultation processes and organisational design activity
  • Ensure people-related risks, dependencies and implementation plans are integrated into programme governance and delivery frameworks
  • Help embed a culture of continuous improvement
