Venn Group is working with a Local Authority in South Yorkshire to recruit experienced Educational Psychologists to support statutory assessment work across the region.
This opportunity offers flexible, assessment-based work, with payment made on a per-assessment basis. The role will involve travelling to schools, educational settings, and family homes across South Yorkshire to undertake assessments and engage with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Educational Psychology assessments for children and young people
- Produce high-quality psychological advice and reports to support EHCP processes
- Attend schools and other settings across South Yorkshire as required
- Work closely with families, schools, SEN teams, and other professionals
- Contribute to statutory assessments and annual review processes
- Manage your own caseload and assessment schedule
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
- Experience undertaking statutory assessments and providing advice for EHCPs
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
- Willingness to travel throughout South Yorkshire
