Assessment-Based Work | Competitive Rates Per Assessment

Venn Group is working with a Local Authority in South Yorkshire to recruit experienced Educational Psychologists to support statutory assessment work across the region.

This opportunity offers flexible, assessment-based work, with payment made on a per-assessment basis. The role will involve travelling to schools, educational settings, and family homes across South Yorkshire to undertake assessments and engage with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Educational Psychology assessments for children and young people
  • Produce high-quality psychological advice and reports to support EHCP processes
  • Attend schools and other settings across South Yorkshire as required
  • Work closely with families, schools, SEN teams, and other professionals
  • Contribute to statutory assessments and annual review processes
  • Manage your own caseload and assessment schedule

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
  • Experience undertaking statutory assessments and providing advice for EHCPs
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
  • Willingness to travel throughout South Yorkshire
