An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Manager to join a large healthcare organisation and lead the delivery of engineering, maintenance and compliance services across a diverse estate.

Location: Cornwall

Rate: Β£224.82 per day (Umbrella)

Contract: Temporary (6 months)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and lifecycle replacement strategies.
  • Ensure all engineering systems and building services remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external contractors, service providers and maintenance contracts.
  • Oversee engineering compliance, audits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
  • Lead and develop engineering teams, driving performance and continuous improvement.
  • Support the operational management of critical building services, ensuring resilience, business continuity and minimal disruption to service delivery.
  • Investigate incidents, produce technical reports and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours management on-call rota.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical and building systems.
  • Experience managing contractors and specialist service providers.
  • Significant experience managing building services, engineering maintenance or estates operations.
  • Experience producing technical reports and presenting information to senior leadership teams.
