An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Manager to join a large healthcare organisation and lead the delivery of engineering, maintenance and compliance services across a diverse estate.
Location: Cornwall
Rate: Β£224.82 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary (6 months)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and lifecycle replacement strategies.
- Ensure all engineering systems and building services remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage external contractors, service providers and maintenance contracts.
- Oversee engineering compliance, audits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
- Lead and develop engineering teams, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Support the operational management of critical building services, ensuring resilience, business continuity and minimal disruption to service delivery.
- Investigate incidents, produce technical reports and implement corrective actions where required.
- Participate in an out-of-hours management on-call rota.
About You
- Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical and building systems.
- Experience managing contractors and specialist service providers.
- Significant experience managing building services, engineering maintenance or estates operations.
- Experience producing technical reports and presenting information to senior leadership teams.
