An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Capital Projects Property Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital investment and refurbishment projects.
Working within a property and asset management environment, you will take overall responsibility for the effective planning, management, and delivery of externally and internally funded capital schemes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.

Contract: Interim – with the potential to be made permanent
Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a programme of capital projects from inception through to completion.
- Manage high-profile refurbishment and investment programmes, including projects within occupied residential environments.
- Ensure all schemes deliver value for money for the organisation, residents, leaseholders, and wider stakeholders.
- Work closely with tenants, leaseholders, and service users to ensure projects reflect customer needs and priorities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust project management systems, standards, and governance processes.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant legal, contractual, professional, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams throughout all RIBA stages.
- Manage project budgets, programmes, risks, and contractor performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and procurement frameworks.
- Produce regular progress reports and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex capital projects within the public sector, housing, property, or asset management environments.
- Strong knowledge of capital programme management and project delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams through all RIBA stages.
- Demonstrable experience overseeing contractor performance and driving successful project outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, leaseholders, contractors, and senior leaders.
- Experience managing project budgets and ensuring value for money.
- Sound understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements relating to capital projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
