Hours: Full-Time

Salary: Β£27,152 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installations Technician to support the delivery of practical electrical training programmes within a busy educational environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on electrical experience who is looking to move into the education sector and play a key part in supporting learners through high quality workshop and practical training activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare workshops, tools, equipment and materials for practical teaching sessions
  • Carry out basic maintenance and repairs to electrical training equipment
  • Support practical demonstrations, assessments and workshop activities
  • Ensure workshops are safe, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements
  • Assist with the development of practical learning resources and activities
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of electrical installation programmes

About You

  • Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • Experience working within an electrical installation, maintenance or repair environment
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with both staff and learners
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
