Fire Repair Joiner x2 – Social Housing – North Wales – £250 to £270 per day CIS – INDSOH

Venn Group are recruiting for two experienced Fire Repair Joiners to work across North Wales on social housing fire safety works. These Fire Repair Joiner roles will involve carrying out remedial fire repair related works across communal areas and housing stock.

This Fire Repair Joiner opportunity is ideal for a qualified joiner with fire door maintenance experience, BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance certification or equivalent, and experience working in social housing, communal areas or occupied housing environments.

The role

As a Fire Repair Joiner, you will carry out remedial fire repair related works across social housing properties. The Fire Repair Joiner will work closely with fire safety officers, completing repairs in communal areas and ensuring works are carried out using approved methods and certified components.

The successful Fire Repair Joiner will record completed repairs on housing management systems and ensure all fire door maintenance and fire safety repair works are completed to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out remedial fire repair related joinery works

• Complete fire door maintenance and fire safety repair works

• Work in communal areas across social housing properties

• Liaise with fire safety officers and internal teams

• Use manufacturers’ approved repair methods

• Use certified replacement components where required

• Record repairs accurately on housing management systems

• Provide evidence of competency, training and certification

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance

• Travel across North Wales to complete scheduled works

About you

• Experience as a Fire Repair Joiner, Fire Door Joiner, Maintenance Joiner or FRA Joiner

• BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance certification or equivalent required

• Able to provide evidence of competency and training records

• Experience completing fire door repairs or fire safety remedial works

• Social housing experience desirable

• Comfortable working in communal areas and occupied housing environments

• Ideally based along the A55 Corridor

• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
