Venn Group's specialist Estates & Facilities recruitment team is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to support a contractor delivering projects across a public sector estate in Dorset. This interim opportunity offers a varied role working on complex building services, plant, and engineering systems across multiple sites.

The Role

  • Undertaking fault finding, testing, installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment
  • Ensuring critical building services remain operational through planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Providing technical guidance to maintenance staff and contractors while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures

About You

  • Significant experience working within a complex engineering or building services environment
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing systems and associated maintenance requirements
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, technical guidance, and industry standards
