Duties
- Attend the Magistrates Court and specialised in regulatory prosecutions
- Provide legal advice to all departments within the council, preparing cases for prosecution, and undertaking the necessary advocacy work in the Magistrates’ Court
- Conduct a caseload of Prosecution files to include Animal Licensing, Fly Tipping, Planning Enforcement
- Progress cases to completion and dealing with correspondence
- Draft summons, indictments, case summaries and Disclosure Requests
- Attend Magistrates Court and dealing with the Court list
- Advise on two Summary Review Applications, also writing up Decision Notices
