Why join Venn
At Venn, we build performance-driven marketing strategies that directly impact client growth. As a SaaS business transforming how recruitment agencies and employer brands attract talent, we combine technology, strategy, and creative thinking to deliver measurable results. Joining our Performance Strategy team means working in a collaborative environment where SEO, content, and social come together to create meaningful results. The team is made up of strategists, SEO specialists, and channel experts who work closely together, share ideas openly, and continuously look for ways to improve performance across all clients. It’s a supportive team that encourages development, autonomy, and trying new approaches.
The Role
We are looking for a Performance Strategist with a focus on SEO and social to lead and deliver effective client marketing strategies. You will use data and insights to shape campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation. You will work closely with Content and Technical SEO teams to deliver joined-up strategies that support both short-term campaigns and long-term growth. This role also involves working directly with clients to understand their goals and translate them into clear, actionable plans.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and executing SEO and social-led performance strategies aligned to client objectives
- Leading keyword research, content planning, and on-site optimisation
- Identifying opportunities for campaign-led growth such as downloadable content, case studies, and social campaigns
- Using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and social platforms to analyse and improve performance
- Reporting on traffic, engagement, conversions, and MQL growth, linking results back to ROI
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure strategies are delivered effectively and consistently
- Working directly with clients to present strategies, share insights, and identify new opportunities
- Managing timelines and deliverables to ensure work is completed to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in SEO or a digital marketing role
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and content strategy, with some exposure to social channels
- Experience working on B2B and/or B2C campaigns
- Confidence using analytics and SEO tools to inform decisions
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how marketing activity drives ROI
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A proactive and curious approach to improving performance
- Confidence taking ownership of client accounts, with support from the Head of Performance Marketing
Who You Are
- Curious about digital marketing and motivated to keep learning
- Comfortable working with data and using it to guide decisions
- A strong communicator who can explain ideas clearly to both clients and internal teams
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Proactive, taking initiative rather than waiting for direction
- Interested in both SEO and social, and how they work together to drive performance
- A team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing ideas
Desirable
- Creative experience, including basic use of Adobe tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) for smaller client projects
