Venesky-Brown are recruiting experienced Steel Fixers for upcoming airside works at Glasgow Airport.

The project will mainly involve formwork and reinforced concrete works, including preparation ahead of concrete pours.

Duties

  • Fixing reinforcement steel and mesh
  • Tying rebar
  • Working from drawings
  • Preparing reinforced concrete elements ahead of pours
  • Working alongside shuttering and concrete teams

Essential Requirements

  • Previous Steel Fixing experience
  • Valid CSCS Card - physical card must be held
  • Available for Sunday to Thursday nightshifts
  • Able to complete the Glasgow Airport Airside Pass process
  • Airside Pass Requirements
  • Fully verifiable 5-year employment/history
  • 5-year address history
  • Valid photographic ID
  • Employment/gap references where required
  • Information required for DBS checks

Previous experience on major civils, infrastructure, airport or reinforced concrete projects would be advantageous.
