Job Description

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Support Secretary for a 20 week contract (4.5 months) on a rate of £13.93/hour (PAYE).

Strong IT Skills, and experience within a medical or labratory setting required

Responsibilities:

  • To audit and record accurate data migration from existing IT system to new system currently being implemented.
  • To provide and deliver administrative support service to all Consultants providing a service.
  • To ensure confidentiality is maintained in accordance with policies and Statutory legislation.
  • To contribute to data collection and processing.
  • Handling, filing and organisation of medical and clinical documentation, including patient results.
  • Support with basic LIMS functions.
  • Responsibility for weekly ordering through PECOS.
  • Assist in the management of quality documentation.
  • Assist in the update of policies and procedures.
  • Preparation, minutes and booking for Lab-associated meetings.

Essential Skills:

  • Desirable to have knowledge of information systems, and any background knowledge of services

  • Demonstrate the ability the operate effectively, under pressure and to strict guidelines
