Venesky Brown Recruitment are looking for a Business Change Manager to join the Sizewell C team in the London office (hybrid working) as an embedded contractor.

Job Purpose / Overview: The Business Change Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the successful implementation of organisational change across Sizewell C’s Transformation Portfolio. This individual is responsible for ensuring that projects are assessed for their impact on people, culture and the wider organisation and that their intended adoption-related benefits are fully realised.

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and when completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute a Business Change management strategy for the Transformation Portfolio, embedding SZC’s Business Change methodology into programmes and projects.
  • Conduct organisation readiness planning to ensure programmes and projects are supported by clear, structured change approaches.
  • Analyse business needs through impact assessments, contributing to evaluation, prioritisation and risk mitigation within the Transformation Portfolio, and enabling the design of effective change solutions.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption, working closely with all levels to ensure changes to processes, systems, and structures are effectively communicated, embedded, and sustained.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional programme and project teams to support the training and capability building required, helping users understand and adopt the new ways of working.
  • Develop and maintain a Business Change heat map to identify areas at risk of change overload and proactively manage adoption challenges.
  • Track and report people-related benefits and risks, ensuring assurance across the portfolio and providing expert guidance on best-practice change principles.
  • Partner with Programme and Project Managers, PMO and workstream leads to ensure change management is integrated into programme governance and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the SZC Change Agent Network to strengthen relationships and champion change initiatives across the organisation.
