Scaffolder (Part 2 )

• Must have valid CISRS card

• Background of scaffolding

• Duties – General scaffold erecting and maintainance for a new concrete structure

• Standard hours are 5 x 10 weekdays.

• Regular overtime and weekend work

• Duration – approx 12 months at least.

• Lodge and travel allowance, Pay rate and example

£20.39 – first 39 hrs

£30.58 – after 39 and first 4 Saturday

£40.78 – After 4 Sat and all Sunday

£50.65 – daily lodge allowance paid 6 for 5 days worked , 7 for 6

Pay Example

If you work a basic 50 hr week with lodge allowance you can expect

£1050 after tax

• £147 holiday pay

• £27 employer pension contribution.

There is also extra daily and periodic travel for those who qualify.
