We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a redevelopment project within a live MOD facility in Plymouth. You will assist in ensuring technical compliance and help deliver works safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting out, ensuring works meet design tolerances
  • Prepare as-built drawings and maintain the drawing register
  • Support quality assurance processes, inspections, and testing of materials/workmanship
  • Assist with site safety, environmental, and quality inspections
  • Monitor progress against time, quality, and quantity targets
  • Maintain daily diaries and project trackers
  • Provide engineering support to resolve technical queries
  • Check survey equipment calibration and site control points
  • Assist with procurement and preparation of site sketches

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) desirable
  • Working towards professional accreditation (e.g., ICE/IStructE) beneficial
  • Experience with reinforced concrete and system formwork (essential)
  • Proficient with Leica survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, levels)
  • Familiar with QMS and RAMS
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
  • CSCS White AQP Card & Supervisor HSE Test
  • Flexible to work weekends/out-of-hours as required
