Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Oracle ERP Finance Specialist for an initial 3-6 month contract on a rate of £800/day (Outside IR35). This role will be based in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
- Input to design of Corporate Finance solution – technical and process, and support in the resolution of open gaps, as part of the activity to close out design with specific focus on:
- Chart of Accounts – understanding how it is used across all entities/services/ALEO’s and identifying opportunities for rationalisation, cleansing and simplification
- Working with the wider programme workstreams to ensure that the Chart of Accounts supports transactional, budgeting and forecasting processes, and reporting and insight needs
- Working with Corporate Finance and the Change team, engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to achieve buy-in to changes to the accounting structures
- Review of design in other areas of Corporate Finance: Assets, Projects (Capital and revenue), Enterprise Performance Management
- Support, where required, on Data Migration (data validation, reconciliation) for Corporate Finance data objects
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience of delivering technical accounting functions in an Oracle ERP Cloud implementation is essential.
- Experience of delivering technical accounting functions in SAP ECC6 to Oracle ERP Cloud transformations would be advantageous.
- Experience of delivering technical accounting functions in SAP ECC6 to Oracle ERP Cloud transformations in a similar environment would be significantly advantageous.
